You’ve Created Your Brand Page – Now What?
It’s time for people to see your page! In other (fancy marketing) words, that’s drive traffic and increase engagement on your page.
Remember, people want to connect with you - sometimes they just need a gentle reminder. We’ll show you how…
1. Use the network you already have!
Chances are, if someone has already joined your mailing list, they’d love to connect with you on Facebook, too.
So send an email to your mailing list inviting them to Like your business on Facebook. It’s easy to do with Constant Contact social media templates.
25% of social media users connect with companies. Of that group of users, 80% make connections on Facebook according to a 2011 Edison Research and Arbitron Research report.
2. Let customers find you.
Add a Facebook Page Badge to Your Website or Blog.
For an official Facebook Badge, login to your Facebook Account and head to: http://www.facebook.com/badges/page.php
Facebook was originally only open to students with a HARVARD.EDU email address. Later it spread to other colleges and universities, high schools, and then select companies. On September 26th, 2006 - Facebook opened account creation to anyone 13 years or older.
3. Suggest the page to friends.
Your friends and family want you to be successful, and they can help by becoming fans! Recommend your Brand page to your personal network and watch your fan base grow.
(You’ll need a personal Facebook profile to do this -see Setting Up Your Profile to find out how.)
4. Take your page social!
This is what makes the difference between “social media” and “social media marketing” – it’s about being found, and being relevant.
And it’s so easy.
Share the link to your Facebook Page on other Social Networks. We recommend sending the link out on Twitter, and adding a link in all the descriptions for your YouTube Videos or Flickr Photos to start.
